A brief history of Kamol Hospital:
Dr.Kamol has been recognized as one of the top surgeons specialising in gender reassignment procedures. Having worked extensively for many years for a private plastic surgery clinic and before that for the Royal Army Hospital in Lopburi province. Dr. Kamol served in Lopburi for six years when he decided to move to Bangkok to run his own clinic. Dr. Kamol had always been interested in working in gender transitioning and facial aesthetic surgery. Now with over 20 years experience and thousands upon thousands of gender affirming surgeries under his belt Dr. Kamol is well established as one of the best.
Dr. Kamol’s dedication and success in this field has led him to have the biggest and most modern purpose built hospitals dedicated to this field in the world. Kamol Cosmetic Hospital also owns its own hotel next to the hospital providing luxury recovery support once a hospital bed is no longer needed but recovery is still needed.
About the Hospital:
Due to huge demand for our industry leading methods and consistently great results from across the world we built our own purpose built 5,200 square meter hospital in 2009. Dedicated entirely to all facets of cosmetic surgery but with a primary focus on Gender confirming procedures, we are the biggest plastic surgery hospital in the world and yet still very much maintain a personal touch.

A beautifully designed luxurious and modern hospital using the best medical equipment available. We have 8 cutting edge operating rooms, Beautiful lobbies, private large luxurious bedrooms rooms with TV channels in English (and every other language) All hospital rooms have lovely private bathrooms with power showers, fridges etc.
Apart from our hospital we have our own serviced apartment hotel next to the hospital. Many Gender reassignment hospitals across the world send patients home well before it is ideal because they don’t own their hospitals and instead rent beds and rooms there. Care, dilation and follow up care in the initial weeks following surgery is vitally important though. We have our own purpose built luxury hotel next to the hospital. Like any other luxury hotel it has large private rooms, international TV, room key cards, tea, coffee, fridge, bathroom with power shower etc but the hotel is staffed by the hospital and provides follow up treatments such as dilation.
The hospital and hotel are centrally located in a lovely part of Bangkok. Within walking distance you will find shopping, businesses, Banks and a variety of restaurants.
